Sets the tone for how ElderLink cares for people — from how caretakers are trained to how we handle the calls that come in at odd hours. If a family has a concern, it usually reaches her first.
Connect on LinkedInBangalore has thousands of elderly parents whose children moved away for work — to Pune, to other parts of the city, abroad. ElderLink exists for the days in between visits home, when someone still needs to take Appa to a check-up or just sit with Amma for an hour.
One of us grew up in RR Nagar and moved away for work a few years back. His mother stayed behind, and her diabetes meant regular hospital visits — nothing serious on its own, but each one meant calling a neighbour for a favour, finding an auto in the heat, and then waiting by the phone for hours until someone called back.
That gap between wanting to help and actually being there is what ElderLink was built to close. We're a small Bangalore-based team — not a call centre, and not an app that connects you to whoever's nearby. We started in 2024 with four home care services for South Bangalore, and we're adding more as we grow.
“Linking you to your parents' care.”
— Our founding mission
Before a caretaker visits your parent's home, we've already done the police verification, the training, and a face-to-face interview. You shouldn't have to vet a stranger yourself — that part's done.
We look for people who'd strike up a conversation with an elderly stranger at a bus stop. That can't really be taught, but it shows in how our caretakers treat every visit.
Every visit ends with a quick update — a photo, a short note, sometimes just "all good, Amma had her tea." Small things, but they're the difference between wondering and knowing.
Right now we run Saturdays and Sundays across RR Nagar, Vijayanagar, Banashankari, and Kanakapura Road — home care on weekdays is next on our roadmap. Just outside these areas? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll let you know the moment we get there.
Three of us run ElderLink day to day — between us, that covers the care side, the product you're using right now, and the systems that keep bookings and tracking running.
