Annual Health Check-Up
One visit, the full picture — blood work, ECG, and a doctor's read on it all.
About this service
Most health issues in elderly parents show up gradually — a number that's slowly drifting, not a sudden emergency. This annual check-up covers blood work, BP and sugar monitoring, an ECG, and a consultation with a physician at a diagnostic centre near you. The caretaker walks your parent through the report in plain language and shares a digital copy with you the same day.
What's included
- Full blood panel (CBC, sugar, cholesterol, kidney, liver)
- Urine analysis
- ECG
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Physician consultation
- Digital report emailed/shared instantly
- Escort to and from the centre
Frequently asked
Does my parent need to fast before this?
Yes, a 10–12 hour fast is needed for accurate sugar and cholesterol results. The caretaker reminds your parent the evening before, so nothing's missed.
When will I get the report?
Most reports come back within 24 hours and go straight to your ElderLink dashboard — you don't need to chase the diagnostic centre.
Can this replace seeing their regular doctor?
It's a good baseline screening, but not a substitute for ongoing treatment of an existing condition. If anything unusual shows up, we'll flag it so you can follow up with your parent's regular doctor.
