Medicine Management
A weekly check so the right pills get taken at the right time.
About this service
Keeping track of five or six medicines with different timings is hard for anyone — for an elderly parent managing it alone, doses get missed or doubled more often than families realise. Every week, an ElderLink caretaker visits to sort medicines into a pill organiser, checks each one against the prescription, and keeps an eye on what's running low. If a refill is needed soon, you get a heads-up about a week ahead, so there's time to sort it before anything runs out.
What's included
- Weekly visit to set up pill organiser
- Prescription verification (dosage & timing)
- Medicine usage log
- 7-day advance refill reminder to family

Frequently asked
What if my parent's prescription changes?
Add the new prescription to the booking notes, or send us a photo on WhatsApp — the caretaker will update the organiser on the next visit.
Can this be booked for every week?
Yes — set it up once as a recurring booking and it repeats automatically, so you're not booking it fresh each time.
Can the caretaker give injections or other medical care?
No — this service covers oral medication organisation only. For injections or nursing care, let us know and we can help you arrange a visiting nurse separately.
